AI is having a huge impact on SaaS products, but EdTech companies aren’t taking advantage of the changes. I’m seeing a derth of RevOps automation despite the fact that there are many great products with startup-friendly pricing. EdTech companies aren’t building scalable operations or instrumenting their products to make data available. No data means no experimentation. No experimentation means a greater risk of failure. There could be a few causes. Many EdTech companies are bootstrapped and think they cannot afford the RevOps tools. They also may not know about the 10,000 tools. I think that we need a new crop of RevOps-aware accelerators and serial founders who have scaled businesses using RevOps tools.
