In a previous post (GTM Engineers — part 1), I discussed how the rise of sophisticated and flexible RevOps tools will be welded by a GTM Engineer to create a highly scalable business. What does the GTM Engineer do? This role supervises and optimizes the buyer journey and past-sales efforts (see GTM Engineer Tools graphic). This includes listening to customers and taking action, as well as, understanding trends, unit economics, seasonality, conversion rates, and sales cycles. Below are a few companies that hit my radar with positioning summarized by ChatGPT. Perplexity did a more extensive comparison.

Clay focuses on data enrichment and workflow automation for lead generation.

Cargo offers a comprehensive suite for orchestrating go-to-market operations with modular workflows and CRM synchronization.

Vasco provides a strategic platform for aligning revenue teams and mapping customer journeys to drive growth.

Pocus delivers AI-driven insights to help sales reps prioritize prospects and build effective playbooks.

Momentum leverages AI to convert sales conversations into actionable insights, streamlining CRM data entry and team collaboration.
